Our Journey

A timeline of how The Green Dairy has grown from a small-scale producer into a trusted partner with the capabilities, experience and scale to support modern food production.

Laying the Foundation
(2006 - 2015)

Building the base. Founded as Gröna Mejeriet, producing plant-based frozen desserts on a small commercial scale, laying the foundation for alternative dairy production.

Scaling Production
(2016 - 2019)

Scaling production capabilities. Investment in filling technology and aseptic packaging enabled expansion into beverages, alongside the launch of our first soft serve for professional use.

Transforming the Platform
(2020 – 2021)

We introduced our oat-based portfolio and transitioned into The Green Dairy. At the same time, we expanded our production capacity across both beverages and frozen products.

Expanding the Portfolio
(2022 – 2024)

From core to full range. We grew beyond our core offering, launching flavoured drinks and culinary products, strengthening our presence across both beverage and foodservice segments.

Reaching Commercial Scale
(2025 – Today)

With new packaging formats and enhanced production capabilities, we support foodservice and private label partners across more than 30 markets worldwide.
